About

Drasgow Consulting Group (DCG) was founded in 2003 by Professor Fritz Drasgow, a leading expert in the areas of psychological assessment and quantitative psychology. Our team is comprised of highly trained professionals who have doctorate degrees in industrial and organizational (I/O) psychology and quantitative psychology.
DCG specializes in carrying out research projects related to personnel selection, assessment, and development. We have extensive expertise in test development and validation, classical test theory, item response theory (IRT), structural equations modelling, statistics, and research methodology. We've developed assessment tools in the areas of cognitive ability, personality, and vocational interest and created computerized adaptive versions of these measures. We also worked with clients to computerize their assessment suites; this work has included IRT psychometric analyses and adapting our software to their needs.
One particular strength of DCG lies in the development and evaluation of innovative, computerized assessments of personnel capabilities that are often difficult to assess using conventional paper-and-pencil approaches (e.g., personality, social and leadership skills, or performance).
Members of our group routinely present at conferences and publish their research in books and top-tier professional journals, such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, Military Psychology, Applied Psychological Measurement, Multivariate Behavioral Research, Psychometrika, and many others.
